Favorite Silverado year and why

I personally love the lines of the 1973-1987s with 1986 being my favorite just because my uncle had one. Red with silver stripes 3/4 ton 4x4. SWEET!

1999.5-2002. Mostly because I own one, but their engines never die, if you take care of them. A very close friend of mine has a 350 V8 that has 507,xxx miles on it and still running strong. Mine is a 364 V8 and has only 185,xxx and I've only had to replace a radiator (I cracked it in an offroading accident).

I have a soft spot for the 1978 - 1979 Chevy C/K trucks. They had that 'rugged' look to them, were available with several V8 engine choices and still look great today.

I wonder if folks will say the same thing about my 2004 in another twenty years. LOL!

If money were no object, I'd love to get a perfectly restored 1970 long bed -- 350 V8, four-speed manual; white/green two-tone paint, Keystone Classic 15" mag wheels and BF Goodrich OWL tires, dual Flowmaster exhaust and bucket seats. :-)

"If I passed you on the right, you're in the wrong damn lane!"

Amen to that. Stupid is as stupid does.

This is my first Silverado so I guess this one's my favorite. :)
