Ford Threads here?
I am sorry, I know this probably shouldn't be posted here. But I gotta ask this, why is there a "Ford Motor Company" thread here that updates constantly? I guess I am kinda surprised to see that on a Chevrolet forum. Besides, why wouldn't it be a Chevy commercial instead?

Internet Brands uses advertising to help fund this site... moderators have brought it to the Admins attention of some of the Ford ads that could be counter-productive to this site and its purpose..

I just ignore the threads on Ford. Quite easy to do really.
Last week had a discussion with the owner of the two local dealers in town; Ford and Chevy. He told me over the past two years:
Ford F150 has outsold Chevy 1500 by about 10 percent
Chevy 2500 has outsold F250 by about 15 percent, and
Chevy 3500 has outsold F350 by about 6 percent
This is local sales.

Well I ignore them too. I just found it surprising is all. You come to a Chevrolet enthusiasts forum and find this self-updating THREAD about Ford. I mean, I do understand ads help support and pay for the site, but I seriously doubt that thread is making enough money to make a huge dent in that bill. I run a site myself and I can relate to the funding purposes of ads. However, you should draw a line somewhere when it comes to ads. Especially in this particular case.
Never the less... I am new here and have no say either way, and I like this forum, lots of good information here on all Chevy cars and trucks.
