If it has a sweet smell, it's antifreeze from your heater core.

Water has come from two other places under my dash. There's a small leak from the outside, somewhere around my windshield/firewall-and my A/C drain tray hose under the dash sometimes clogs.

Another reason I'm so glad this beast doesn't have carpeting...

Definitely just water on the floor...I checked it this afternoon.

And on a sidenote, I just flushed the radiator and block...didn't look like this had been done in a long long time...the rust colored crap that came out was nasty...not sure if that was dexcool or rust or a combination of both.

Oh...and the radiator drain plug is a bitch to get to by the way

i hear the same thing in my truck all the time. my heater still works and i have plenty of fluid and my A/C works and all. i thought it was just my A/C pushing refrigerant through the lines cause it only does it when the air is on. so i wouldnt worry about it. i hear it and nothing is wrong with my truck.

I have a 2002 V6 silverado truck. I have had the water slushing sound now for 3 or more years now. It happens when i accelerate, louder in the morning.

I recently changed/flushed the coolant and the noise is still there.

the noise bothers me, but i have learned to just deal with it.
