Help With Finding Out What Year a 4.3 Vortec Is?
I blew the motor in my 92 W/T at 286,000 and was looking to put another motor in it.....looking on Craigslist I found a motor but I'm not sure if it will work......it is a rebuilt Vortec.......the numbers on the back on the motor are on the drivers side top 4.3L and under that is 5SGI.....in the middle above the crank is A241, and on the passenger side the numbers are 10066061.....there is also a number on the main seal which I assuming is the part number....140788557.......been searching the net to see if I could see if this will work for me......any help would be great.......Thanks, Mack
