Here's a tough one - 2003 Silverado 3/4 Crew Cab

Here's a tough one: I just bought this truck and have been doing some small fix-it stuff. I bought it with a new CD deck that doesn't have a switched power supply.

I set off on a mission today to give it a switched power supply. I took off the panels and ran a wire from the windshield wiper fuse to the radio and it worked. While in the process, however, I disconnected a couple of plugs from the fuse relay in the cab. I did plug them all back in. But now my truck is acting really strange. Here are the symptoms I've found:

Interior Dome light no longer turns on (switch on or off, same with dimmer switch).
Dash Panel does not light up.
Turn signals don't work.
Transmission won't shift out of 2nd gear.
Fog light indicator, security passlock indicator, parking break indicator and ABS indicator in the dash panel are all lit up.

All of these things were completely normal yesterday prior to messing with the radio. I did unhook the switch wire in case that was in without any luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I also unhooked the battery but it looks like the security passlock problem is stored in computer memory.

I bought the bulldog security bypass kit and tried to use it but I'm not entirely sure I did it right. I plan on waiting until Monday to talk to bulldog support to see if I'm hooking it up right.

If anyone else knows a way to reset this passlock thing, please let me know.

sounds like you did not hook the plugs back up right. there is a security relearn and it takes a while to do. but you should fix the other problems first and get the door light and dash stuff taken care of. also check to make you did not bend any pins to the plugs.

Good call. I found the fuse relay that i forgot to plug in. Fixed everything.
