HID lights help!

ok so my dad has a 2007 1500 the new version not the classic, and i finally convinced him that HID's are the way to go. but i have a few questions for you guys that have done them before. just by looking there are two headlight bulbs, im guessing one is the driving lights and the other is the actual high low headlights. can i convert the daytime with a HID kit. and also, if i can convert it, do i need to run two seperate kits with ballasts for both of the bulbs? or would it just be easier to say screw it and just take the running lamp out and just having the headlights? all your info would be greatly appreciated. :)

The top bulb is your lows, the bottom bulb is your highs. The drl in the newer trucks is basically a low voltaged headlight and at night it brightens up a bit

The top bulb is your lows, the bottom bulb is your highs. The drl in the newer trucks is basically a low voltaged headlight and at night it brightens up a bit. So you can replace both of them if you want, each bulb will need a ballast. Be careful though when pickin out HIDs. Each bulb is different. The top one may not fit the bottom socket and vice versa

Thanks! And I went on sylvanias website and the bulbs are different so I'll just order two separate kits with different bulbs. That will make the drl hids too right?
