Idling issues

1999 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab Z71 with a 5.3 liter.

Problem-It starts fine when it is cold, and runs fine. As soon as it is warmed up, it hard starts. It takes about 7-10 turns to start, unless I hit the gas then it sputters and starts after about 4-5 cranks. Again, once warmed up it will start to stall at stops and occasionally it does stall.<O:p</O:p

2 months ago the fuel pump went out on it, and I thought that it was it. So I had the pump, filter and relay changed, and it still does it. Any input to any ideas that you guys have would be so appreciated.
Thank you for looking!

check the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose, if it smells like gas then it is bad, i have seen them do this before
