Take your vin number to your local chevy dealer service department and they can look it up for you. If they are willing to go above and beyond, they can print you off your full build sheet. Good luck to you.

No, just the easiest and you get ALL the information for your truck. Nothing is easier for all of your questions than having a build sheet to help answer those questions. This is just my suggestion.

Look for a label with a bunch of codes on it inside the glove box. You'll probably have to do some Googling to decipher the the RPO codes, but the paint codes are near the end of the series. In this picture, my interior paint code is 69I, which is Dark Pewter for my 2004. I think it could be a different color, or a different name, for other model years.

If you take a piece of interior trim or your truck to you local aautomotive paint supply company, they can usually match your color with a spray can of paint that will closely match your color. Remember the interior in your truck is 15 years old and UV faded so the color may be off slightly but if you paint a complete panel the difference is hard to see. I have a 94 1500 and I did this when I put in a new radio and the new center panel was black. The match in color is hard to tell. I also just got paint for a 2004 crown vic A pillar trim and match was perfect.
