1988scotdale

My 88' Scotsdale has a blue interior with a plan bench seat. In my search for a replacement seat I was told that a replacement bucket seats from another 1988-1994 could not be reupholstered because the fabric is glued to the form pading and the padding comes apart while attempting to remove the fabric. I think I've found some bucket seats that are red. Can anyone speak with experience in re-upholstering the seats or the idea of dyeing red seats blue. Thanks
