Default little stumble 5.3L

Ok so driving along i feel a bump at random times thinking spark plug but shouldn't i get a code for misfire on obd

do you feel the bump when you are giving it gas or just when you are letting off/coasting?

not necessarily. misfire codes are tripped when computer senses that no combustion or very little combustion has occured. even plugs with 100k miles on them may not trip codes as long as sufficient combustion has occured. a stumble in motor could be caused by plugs, wires, coil, cheap gas. clogged injectors.

It was when i was steady on gas
Im thinking plugs / tuneup but who know till i dig in
