Default Need help to determine 2007 rear end gear ratio

I'm looking at a 2007 Silverado 1500 4x4 with the 6.0 Vortex Max engine but car dealer (not cherolet) that has it does not seem to know if it has a 4.10 or 3.73 rear end. I have verified from other forum posts that it could have either and the 4.10 was associated with a max towing option.
Is there a way to definitively determine what rear end this vehicle has and if so, how would one do that? I would need to get the dealership that has the vehicle to do this since I'm not in the same city.

Thanks in advance

check the rpo codes in the glove boxe, gt4= 3.73, gt5= 4.10's also have them email you a picture of the rpo codes so you can confirm for yourself.

when i got my first 06, the dealer swore up and down that the truck was the 310hp ho 5.3 with 3.73 gears, low and behold, it was the 295hp flex fuel engine with wonderful 3.42 gears.

342s aint gonna win many races, unless there's a gas pump involved. They're great on the highway, though.

Who knows? Maybe if you search around, you can find a Silverado owner looking for those 342s who'll trade you a set of 410s straight up.

We need to enact a law that dealers be videotaped. Seems like lying to customers is a well-oiled practice.
