Need work diagram - Silverado Heater Core
Turned on my heater today (first time in months) and the smell of antifreeze was overwhelming. Windows all steamed up.
After lots of searching, I finally pulled the black plastic cover from around the heating components under the dash board. Antifreeze leaking pretty good under there. The problem is, after pulling off the cover and the lower right half of the dash board including the glove box, I am not sure how to get to the heating core to see what is leaking. Is it a hose or is the whole thing in need of replacement. And if so, how the heck do I replace it? If anyone has a job diagram, I would appreciate it. It turned out to get to it, I had to take the whole dash out. That was not fun.
