new 2012 silverado rearend clunk update
 

Went to third dealer Tech heard clunk when truck shifts down into first.Did a rear leaf spring retork according to tsb#09-03-09-001A.Did not fix noise.He then called GM tech Assis.THey said tsb #01-07-042G the 2-3 upshift and3-2 down shifts clunk do to some Momentary torque reversal this is normal,no repairs should be attempted.Well GM mine clunks down shifting into 1st not 2nd.3 gm reps. 2 case numbers and no fix.Called nys bbb started case against chevy.I would tell everyone never buy a GM product again. THis is my last one.Well GM you just lost a 30 year buyer.I would say that with this attitude towards customers you will need a bailout again.You screwed me GM but I will take every path to get this fixed or brought back by you:mad: have a great day

After my last post got a call from new GM rep (4th) one about my BBB claim and new case # (3rd one)I hope maybe this is going to get fixed or settle claim, beforethe BBB claim moves forward, I have gotten claim# and paperwork for this problem.I hope for a positive out come so I will be able to stay a GM customer for years to come:rolleyes:
