Default Oil/fuel gauges help!!!

Hi everyone, I got a 1992 chevy 2500 with the 5.7 my oil pressure gauge and fuel gauge dont work. Both just stay maxed out with the truck on or off I can put the needle down with truck off and shoots right back to max as I turn it on. Would these be related to each other like there running on the same wire by any chance? It's not the cluster I tried a different on and does the same exact thing. Seems to be grounding out somewhere. Thanks
