Default Oil pan removal...

from underneath, while engine still in vehicle. Any body done this? I need to check rod and main bearing condition. 89 GMC K1500. I really don't want to pull engine out.

Thanks, Gilbert

ok, so no one has attempted. Well now I can say that is it possible, but only when you remove front differentail. I replaced all main and rod bearings. I got the pan back on and waiting for it to warm up and wind to die down.
