Default Problems with New Exhaust/Intake

Hey guys. I installed a K&N 63 Series intake and a Magnaflow exhaust on my 2010 5.3 4WD Silverado Crew Cab, and since doing so, my truck has a hard time starting. I turn the key, and it sounds like it's either starving for air/fuel, or is getting too much. It eventually starts after a second or two, but I have a feeling something is off. It also sometimes idles high or "runs on" when I am decelerating.

Any ideas what the problem might be or how I can resolve it? Do I need to get a tuning chip to change the fuel/ignition mapping? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Chris

Check out the mass air flow sensor, k&n is notorious for over oilin the filter and it can get all over the maf and cause it to do some funny things

Since the problem started after changing the intake, that is where you should look first. Check for vacuum leaks around the intake.
