Should I trade my truck?

Hi there, I don't want this to seem like I am just posting to ask a question and then leaving, because I am not. I lurk here nearly everyday, and have decided it's time to post because I am really split on this one.
EDIT: TITLE SHOULD OF BEEN SELL, NOT SURE HOW TO CHANGE THAT ONE.....

Anyway.
I have a 2000 GMC 1500 with plow, 205,000 miles auto with 4.8l. No rust, have paid local body shop to professionally weld in new rocker panels and cab corners sense pictures were taken. BUT It's boring. I can't stand the automatic. Local cragislist has a 1999 with a plow for $4800, this has the 6.0, and is a little bigger, 180,000 miles. Basically the same truck just with a manual, could I get $4800 out of mine if I sold it after I bought the new one?
Downside(s): loose big ass custom bumper, more rust, may have been beat on more than mine, loose money from selling mine, less mpgs. Upsides: Will pull my 14 foot enclosed trailer better, manual, newer plow setup, less miles, more power, manual, manual,manual...

Very much considering this. Anybody have any input? Is it worth it? OR am I just going to loose my bumper and possibly some money.
New truck:1999 gmc Sierra 2500 5sp stick 4x4 maybe with boss plow for more

Just my off-the-cuff $0.02 comment, but why would you put a plow on a half-ton truck? I've always seen them on the 2500HD (3/4 ton+) and 3500HD series (1 ton+) trucks.

If the truck is okay besides being a bit boring, why sell it? Keep it as a 'beater' and buy something a little nicer for your other ride. Bear in mind that a HD truck with the 6.0L will make your half-ton with a 4.8L seem like a Toyota Prius in comparison. You won't like having to put gasoline in it every other day.

its a 1500HD that has the 2500 chassis and powertrain correct? cause otherwise, yeah....1500's aren't designed to plow.
