silverado in australia
 

hi ive imported a 2008 2500hd ltz silverado to australia and converted it from left hand drive to right hand drive.everything is fantastic and probably the best tow vehicle ive ever owned.the only thing i cant get to work is the sat nav.ive tried to install an australian map /cd into the head unit but it wont support the disk that im using.could anybody tell me what format the american sat nav uses in the silverado.i believe its a denso product.

I wonder if the drive is similar to DVD players that have region codes and will only work with certain DVD's from a particular region.

what part of Aus you living in?? I'm in Melb, and drive a 69 C10 Chev still LHD and just love the looks i get, people just stop and stare. Dont forget to put a pic of your truck up so we can all admire it.
