swapping front bumpers
 

I drive a red 07 nbs extended cab - standard bed, and ever since i bought it new last september, i've always wanted to swap the front bumper.

my front bumper is a standard flat black work truck bumper. it looks ok (which has enabled me to hold out in buying a new bumper) but it has to go.

my first idea was to buy a street scene bumper, but i believe it wouldnt look great on an extended cab thats slightly higher than a stock truck (i have upgraded to 20' wheels)

so i have found a bumper that are sold on stock trucks (though i dont see them often).

i was wondering if i found one at a dealership, would there be any possibility of swapping bumpers (not for free obviously)

note: i have a chrome grill on my truck

Im sure the dealership could simply order one for you. I dont think they like swapping parts from vehicles on the lot. . .
