Towing w/ 2500 6.0

Well I've just purchased my 2500 silverado 8 months ago and love it. I'm wondering if anyone out there has pushed the limit on the towing capacity. I pull a gooseneck for horses and a skeeter boat. I know the 4 to 5 tons I pull isn't the limit. Just wondering if anyone often pulls a much higher weight limit. The truck is total stock besides the the spit cup holder. lolo

I've talkd to some guys about towing and 10,000 to 12000 isn't abnormal, I was just seeing if anyone out here has towed alot more.

I have a 99 2500 with the 350 and I pull around a Bobcat 873 skidsteer w/ metal tracks which weighs about 5 ton plus a 3,000 trailer. Obviously going up hills it works pretty hard, but it handles it pretty well.

i have a 2003 and i pull horse trailers constantly with it. it's the best truck for it. the biggest trailer i've ever pulled was a 32 foot goose neck with five horses and a lot of tack and feed. it didn't like going up hills fast but did great. i'm not sure what the weight was, but i've never had problems.

as of now i use my god mothers truck cause i dont have the proper hitch but her 1994 with the 350, a 5.7liter engine pulls a 3 horse all steel gosoeneck with three horses with not much fit aside from long or steep hills.....the trailer HAD to be ALL empty to pass Ohio trailer limits for weight.....and it made it by less than 10 pounds. As far as i know with three horses and the trailer combined it is a fair bit over the legal limits.......however it does pull well enough, i just want to get her trailer up on my 454 duelly
