Truck wont start?

Default Truck wont start?

ok so i have a 97 chevy Z71 with a SB 350 5.7 vortec. i tore it down, and replaced my lifters, push rods, and rockers, all my gaskets, and i took my heads in and had the done at the machine shop. well i got everything back together, hooked everything up but now it wont start, its like my battery isnt hooked up. now im guessing its my ground wires but i dont know, can anyone help?

Got a volt meter, or test light? Check from battery + to good engine ground. Might just be the ground cable to frame dirty, paint, or not hooked up. My old car has a bonding strap on the motor mounts for a better frame ground.

the battery is good, but im not sure about the ground wires, i pretty much have no mechanic experice and i have did all this from just winging it, by my self. so im guessing its the ground wires some where, im just not sure. but thanks for the input. is there a certine place the need to be hooked up

Ind the ground termonal from battery. add a large guage wire, at least a 10 to a clean metal place to bolt it on the engie itself. If it is a ground, that should clear it.
