Default Cabin Filter or Not

I have a 2007 Silverado Classic Extended Cab. I stopped at the auto parts store yesterday and purchased a new cabin filter. But now after I've removed the access panel, there doesn't appear to be any clamp/holder to allow me to change it. So the question is, do I even have one?

Thank You,

RickR90s

de[emds on the trim level. some don't have the door cut out. some have the door cut out but don't come with a filter from factory. some come cut and with filter.

if you want one you can buy a door kit (dealer has them) and cut the door outline on the heater box out.

Thank you sir for the quick reply. Mine definitely doesn't have the door cutout. So if I understand correctly, (LT trim level), I could modify mine with a kit from the factory which would allow me to use a filter?
