Weak Spark from Spark Plugs

I have a 1992 Chevy Sport Pick Up. My husband just finished some work on the motor. After getting it all back together he was testing the spark from the spark plug and it has a yellow spark. He was looking for a strong blue spark so wasn't sure if this is normal and he doesn't know where else to look that maybe causing this weak spark. Would anyone have any ideas on where we can go from here?
Thank you.
Cheryl

how old are the plugs, wires and cap and rotor?, if these are new the coil could be getting weak, also use dielectric grease on all the plugs

That's the thing. All the plugs are new, wires are new and he did use grease on all the plugs. We did not replace the rotor and the cap as it stems before the rotor and the cap. He did replace the coil, pick up coil and ignition modual as well. He's at a loss right now as to why there is only a yellow spark at the coil.

how does the cap and rotor look?
if the contact points are aluminum, go and get a cap and rotor that have brass in the contacts, the aluminum ones corrode as soon as they ae installed
