Default 04 Silverado Z71 Help

I just bought my truck a few months back and I'm having problems filling it up at the pumps. I've heard this is a common problem with newer model Chevy pickups. I have my check engine light on, but none of which read for the EVAP codes that I've heard that are the major call for this problem. Just codes for my 02 and Air Flow sensors. I've checked the lines to make sure there are no pinches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I don't know if this makes a giant difference, but when I bought the truck it came with a K&N Air Filter (which is what I'm told the MAF sensor code is comign from), an aftermarket exhaust, and an Edge Product program on the ECU. (Just a guess because they have the emblem on the side.)

Again, I appreciate any help that can be tossed my way and saving me a good chunk of cash.

Your talking about fuel handle kicking off a lot? Happens to me on any vehicle.

There's a hose/pipe that runs along outside the fill pipe from the top of the fuel tank all the way up to the end of the fill pipe. It's there to vent the air displaced by the fuel that goes down the big pipe. Maybe one segment is kinked or plugged up?

How could I check if a part is blocked? There's no pinches or kinks in the tube.

You can undo clamps and inspect section by section as much as you can. Don't use compressed air or anything like that to blow into the fuel tank. There may be something blocking the fill pipe as well. If you don't find anything, consider taking it in for service. Usually the fuel tank has to be lowered to do a proper job.
