1989 c1500 new grill

Hey i have a 1989 c1500 it doesn't have composite headlights. The question is would a grill from say a 96 that takes composite headlights fit on one that doesn't have them?

Yes, any 90-98 will work. Just be sure to get the mounting brackets for the composite lights.

so would i have to change to composite headlights or could i keep the dual ones?

Sorry, jaguar11, I misread your question. I thought you wanted to change to the composite lights. I also have an 89 Silverado and I had a grille from a 96 that I was going to install, but I decided to stick with the original. It looks like it should work, but I don't know for sure. Sorry.

it should work. we put a 89 chevy grill on a 96 gmc so i dont think it would be any different.
