haha i did it at a buddies house last year for the first time and didnt expect that cloud lol. after that the throttle response was better.

thanks for all the input guys! so here is the run down as it stands. thursday i replaced the MAF and (fingers crossed) every thing seems good! no codes or stumbles! The mileage is just a few hundred over 100000, i intend to change those plugs SOON, the air filter looked brand new but im interested in a CAI, can someone suggest a good product. therewolf the truck is an automatic so im not sure if i have the shift indicator light????? the engine light was on but had it cleared after i replaced the MAF an so far so good! thanks for the suggestions about the sea foam, ill be smokin up the neighborhood soon!

when you change your plugs change to iridiums. some people like the cai and some dont. i posted a thread about cai probably on like 2nd or 3rd page maybe 4th. check it out.

s34n is right about those iridiums.

No, I think you misunderstand me, stotts.

If you look at your speedometer, right below the gauge you should see your auto trans shift indicator--(PRND321). It doesn't light up when you need to shift, it merely underlines the gear you choose to shift your transmission into. I explained this poorly to begin with.

Right below that is a DIC which usually shows your Odometer mileage. In the event of a problem for which the '04 has a sensor, many times a prompt or code will flash instead of your mileage at startup. This could save you a bit of trouble.
