2010 silverado 1500 w/ clunking issue
I am in need of some major brain help- I have a 1500 silverado that lately developed a clunking sound under the left front (drivers) wheel area. It only happens when you turn sharp in either forward or reverse. It will not do it all the time and the truck has been in the shop 3 times now and no one can locate the problem. The dealership just replaced the left front lower ball joint assembly Friday and it still does it. Any ideas as to where to look/check? The truck had a Zone 4" lift kit installed from the dealership- (just some inside info)

popping
My 2000 did it and my 2007 does it. Friends with late model silverado's say there does it too. Its kinda unnerving it sounds like a ball joint is worn out and popping around. I put 233,000 on my 2000, probably had 5 alignment services. My mechanic never found a tie rod or ball joint issue.

could it be an axle issue?
