2500 hd hood on a 1500?

2500 hd hood on a 1500?
I have a 2005 1500 single cab 5.3, and i really like how the 2500 hd hoods look... im sure you've all been asked this alot.. but will a 2500hd hood fit on my truck?

i thought they were the same ???
If you want the 06-07 style hood you have to change the grille also. other than that i belive there is nothing else different.
06-07 hood and grille is next on my list for my 05.

actually they are the same fom 1500 to 2500 because my buddy's 05 2500HD has the same hood as my 05 1500...
so you for sure want 06-07 hood and grille, i looked comparing my 05 and 07 and thats all i can see that needs to be changed. headlights and stuff are the same
