4:56 gears
Have a 1995 Suburban, 454 ci, K2500
Not much power pulling our new 33ft trailer. Sounds like it is really working and no response when putting foot down. At 60 mph/2800rpm in third gear it does not sound healthy. Someone said go to 4:56 gears and it will make a big difference. What do you think? Have K&N intake and GF chip which worked for our older trailer but not now. Help!!

This is just my opinion, so don't throw rocks.
But, for your purposes, you might want to consider a diesel, as the gassers are by nature, really lame.
You just can't believe the 'tug' that come out of these new diesels.
