97 Silverado Problems
 

Hi all. My truck has an issue with either a miss or a kick. You can be accelerating or just cruising along at any speed and without warning it will either miss or kick. The harder you are stepping on the gas the harder the kick. It doesn't do it all the time. Any ideas?

The steering is pretty loose also. What do I need to do to tighten it up?

The headlight are not very bright either. The plastic lens are really not that bad. What ya got for that?

miss/kick: when was last full tune-up?

headlights: all wiring ok? if so, use the Silverstar or Silverstar Ultra bulbs

steering: check tie rod ends, ball joints, control arm bushings, pitman arm, idler arm. basically all suspension and steering components and bushings. replace worn parts, have alignment checked/adjusted. still loose? probably worn steering gear box.
