Hi I have a 99 z71 5.3l that I just purchased from a guy the had let it sit for about year and can't seem to get it running. He said it ran when he parked it and stopped driving it because of a tranny issue. But I've found that there is no spark and no fuel getting to the fuel rail? The truck cranks over great like it wants to fire but just wont. I'm not real sure what the problem is but I'm starting to think it's something electrical or something with the security system. Which I've the passlock relearn and that didn't work and I also tried unplugging that wire connected to the ignition in the steering column for 10min hoping it would reset the security system but that idea fail also. Not sure what to do next any help is appreciated!
