ABS problem

Hi, I recentrly did a brake job on my 2000 Silverado 4x4(4 disc) and a soon after that my ABS started kicking in for no reason. Every time I about to come to a complete stop, the ABS system kicks in and the truck rolls on for another 2-3 feet. I took the 2 front abs wheel sensors out and cleaned them and they seem fine. I have no ABS light in my dash. Has this ever happen to someone else?

I'm having the same problem with my 2000 silverado 4x4 I just put new brakes and calipers on the front and still have the same thing going on. the brakes work fine 9 out of 10 times but that tenth time when I'm coming to a stop and going slow like pulling in a parking stall I'll put my foot on the brake and the pedal is real hard. It starts pulsating and won't stop unless I throw it netural real quick. I need Help

Ill go thru it again, if you force contaminated fluid back thru the ABS when pushing the pistons back it can mess up the system. Clamp off the hoses and open the bleeders. If your fluid is super clean you can get by with not doing this. "Ya feel lucky punk"

my 04 was doing that, found a bad wheel bearing, replaced it and problem solved.
