Accelerator sticking

My husband has an '02 Silverado and every now and then when he puts the truck in drive his accelerator sticks and he has to slam on the accelerator before it unsticks.

Anyone heard of this?

The throttle body needs cleaning. You can pick up some throttle body cleaner at any auto parts store or Wal Mart.
