Amp & sub install in 2007 2500 PU
 

so i put a amp and sub in my nbs 07 2500 crew cab. when i hook up all four wires it barely puts a signal to my sub but if i plug in the red solid and green striped wires and leave the green solid and red striped wires unplugged it pounds. should this happen? should i connect the solid green and red striped the same way or leave them untapped?

how is everything wired up?

right now i have it wired up so the red solid and green striped are going into my line output converter. then to rca,s to my amp and mono out to my sub.. i
