Another HID Question

Hey guys! Im brand new to the forum but i have friends that recommended me - i have yet another HID question - i know there are several threads but one more wont hurt. I have read them all but i havent seen any perticular brand. There are several HID Xenon companies out there that offer HID conversion kits (with ballist) and im wondering - what kits have you guys used? Whos kit works best? Is the 6000k the best choice? Pros and cons to HIDs? any help from knowledgeable experts would be extremley helpful. I look forward to also replying to some of your posts as well - i have many years of chevrolet knowledge that might be of some help - sorry for the mis spelled words - i was in a hurry!

I don't know what year your truck is but i have an 08' and I just installed a set of 6000k HID's. Here is the link for the company I ordered mine from and I had no problem installing them and once you recieve the HID's, you will get a link to go to and print of the intallation instructions

P.S.

My buddy also order a set of HID's from this company for his R1 and he loves them.

Good luck!

Actually 4200K is the whitest temperature, but 4300K is the whitest and brightestHID kit made. The human eye can't tell a 100K difference though.I have a 5000k GE kit on my Blazer and I have not been let down. Some Pros and Cons of HIDs are:Pros[ul][*]Whiter &Brighter light output than standard Halogen[*]Increased visibility[*]Increased sight range[/ul]
Cons[ul][*]Must warm up (1-2 sec)[*]Uses more power, increased battery rundown when accidentallyleft on.[*]Tends to blind other drivers when headlight lenses are dirty or headlights are out of adjustment[/ul]
To be most effective, headlights can be replace to suit the light intensity of the HIDs

Might be a dumb question, but the kit includes the normal running lights AND the brights right?

I live in Beaumont, Tx and they are located up around the Dallas area. I order them on a Friday and they came in the next Tuesday.
