@Maxxman04......... Thanks for your advice, I'll just used the cruise on the road and enjoy the trip..LOL.. thanks again. I was going to replace the axle seals this weekend, just a little seepage at 255,000. Do you know of any issues changing them? Looks straight forward, diff cover, drain, remove bolt,(Carefully) push pin out, c clips, pull out axles, replace seals....

@ Polk540.... thank you for the heads up, I can live with that mileage. thanks for the info, gonna filler him up this Saturday take a cruise on 95, write the miles down and refill and head back home.. then avg out the mileage and see what i get..... Thanks again

I have to agree, you're just not going to see a dramatic difference unless you jump a ratio. Plus, those 373s really put out good low-end power if you give it some gas. 342s don't have a lot in the low end...

you will probally find that the blower probs is due to a blower motor resistor (i think it is located behing glove box on '98) water is probally due to leaking windshield or fresh air vent.
