Default Computer replacement

I have had a strange problem where every once in a while my truck will crank but won't start. If you wait 10 minutes though, it will start right up. Turns out my boss's daughter had the same problem and had to get a new computer installed. I haven't had too many problems lately, but was wondering what I should expect that to cost. Anyone know?

computer replacement costs depends on the vehicle, which i didn't see as specified. typically, an OBDII computer averages $250 or more. depending what vehicle you have tho, it might be wise to have it checked out to make sure there isn't another issue going on. loose/dirty battery cables, malfunctioning factory security system, ignition starter switch worn...
