engine size
hi i just bought a 1991 silverado extended cab long bed. it has a v8 in it but i cant seem to find any were what size engine it is.
does anyone know were i can find this info or does anyone know off hand, oh its unleaded to.

RE: engine size
Look on your VIN number and it will tell you what engine came in the truck. I think you said it was a V8.
Chevrolet C/K pickup--- the eigth digit over is the engine and the tenth is the model year.
for a 91 the letter for different engine sizes are:
H=305CI (5.0)liter
K=350CI (5.7)liter
C=379CI (6.2) DIESEL145HP
J=379CI (6.2) DIESEL 155HP
N=454CI (7.4) liter
