Exhaust dilemma!!
Whats going on fellas,
so i have been debating what size piping i should go with for my exhaust. I just ordered some Long Tube Pacesetter Headers and a 3" Magnaflow exhaust with the built in X pipe. I am currently running 2.25" and was wondering if i should keep it at 2.25 or just do 3". The engine i am running is a 5.3l (LM7) looking to go with a 6.0l (LQ9) in the near future. one of my buddies is running 3" true dual with the same muffler i mentioned on a 5.3l (L33). I have been dont by others about back pressure, but my buddie has been running his that way for a while and has made pretty good numbers. any thoughts would be very appreciated. THanks

Mine are 3 in stock so go 3 in as long as you don't take cat off and run true strait pipes your fine
If you jump to 3 you'll eat more gas but get hp to pick up truck faster give and take
If you do cat back with a muffler at 3 in my want to get chip tuned for better mpg performance but not a must
