By frozen you mean it stays in the hot area even after to shut the truck off? If its always on hot I'd say you have a stuck gauge. If it come down after being shut off but goes right to hot when when you turn the key on I would change the sensor.

It is stuck in the hot position all the time, even when ignition is off. Does a stuck guage mean I have to remove the whole gauge panel from the dash? Could it be some wires shorting out at the engine or a bad sending unit?
Also, my windshield wipers are going nuts. Won't stop when told, stops in the wrong position, does random movements. Is the motor or the switch bad?
Could the gas guage, temp guage and wipers have a common problem?
