leaf spring question
 

i noticed a squeak on my 04 silverado 1500 and it sounds like the noise is coming from the bushing on my leaf spring pack. should i replace the bushings and see if that cures the problem or what should i do to get rid of this annoying noise? also it sounded like the noise was coming from the leaf spring shackle area. thanks sean

it's an easy and pretty cheap place to start. polyurathane bushings tho. rubber ones are worthless

thanks maxxman. i was looking on lmc trucks for the bushing kit and i dont think its those bushings. are there any bushings between the leaf springs themselves? should i just buy a used/new leaf spring pack?
