The only thing I can recommend is staying the F away from Skyjacker... My father lifted his 87 with Rancho and he loves it! Last month I finally forced him to change out his struts and stuff and he installed everything almost 10 years ago if that helps you judge the quality.

The ranching 4" is really like a 5.5" kit I think? I know people who have put 35s under em with no trimming so definitely not a 4". Check out rough country, pro comp, BDS, and zone offroad. They all have 6" kits that are pretty good

Rough country makes the 6 inch and a very strong lift. I helped a friend put it on and everything went on easily and he has had for about 2 years and has no problems and looks good. They are right about the rancho lifts but if you feel more comfortable with getting a 6 inch lift i would definately recommend the rough country lifts.

Rough country is what I'm bout to be puttin on and
I've helped install 2 of em and like said above they're a very strong and affordable lift. But, BDS is too of the line in my book

Anybody know what the best website and cheapest website to buy the rancho kits and the pro comp? Also what are the best shocks available for offroading i herd King shocks are? ive been trying to look for them for my 2002 Chevy silverado 1500 Z71 4wd but i cant find any that i can buy straight from a site, do i have to go to a fabrication shop that sells them and modifys them to be put on my truck? Plus how much are they?
