Lifting 90 K1500

I'm Going To Be Putting A 6 Inch Rough Country Lift On My 1990 Chevy K1500 Now The Question Is Since It Comes With A Torsion Bar Relocating Bracket If I Put Different Keys In There That is Suppose To Lift It 2 to 3 inches will that gain be On top of the 6 inch? so all in all it will be lifted 8 to 9 inches?

If the keys did not come with the kit you bought it will lift the front higher than the back. I see a lot of trucks around with the front a little higher than the back for whatever reason. I think it looks Terrible. If not level than the front slightly lower looks a lot better. My opinion!
Good luck with the lift. Hope it goes smooth for ya. Like to see the after pics!

I put a 4" lift in a 79 Chevy 1/2 ton back in the mid 80s and the end result was the front about 1" higher than the back. Not sure y but I had to put an extra leaf in the back to level it out. That was my first 4x4 and I couldn't wait to make it look like a real 4x4 truck! I should post pics of it. Again good luck with your lift!
