mark 4 intake and distributor on mark 5 8.1l?
 

im a newbie here and i was just wondering if anyone knew the answer to my question somebody told me that you could take the intake off a mark4 and put it on a mark5 block with the distributor if anyone knows if this is posible please reply.

Are you referring to the mark 4, as in the 454 7.4L? I'm pretty confident that you can put the intake from the 7.4L onto the 8.1L, as the only change to the motor is a 10mm change in the stroke.
