No dash or parking lights just stopped working
Was trying to fix a problem I have with my front left turn signal when two wires touched and my parking and dash lights have been out since then. Checked fuses and from what I see none were blown, also what fuse should I be checking? Also heard that those switches can go bad, but would my headlights and dome light still work with that switch bad? Any help would be great been beating my head against the wall on this too long.
Thank you

well 1st off your truck year would probablybe of help.
I believe parking and dash lights in my '95 is fuse #14
I missed it when mine went out and come to find out it was a fuse the whole time,
check carefully. and there should be a reference thing right there saying what the
different fuses go to.

So I got blinkers, parking, and dash lights back! One thing I noticed is that when my right signal is on the arrow on dash works but when I use left there is no blinking arrow. I did have to wire the front left two blinker bulbs together because other wires for blinker were not working.

So quick update left blinker died again today looked a little closer and noticed someone tied a wire into the yellow wire coming off the wiring harness under drivers side of dash and it came loose and is what powers the left blinker. My question now is would this have anything to do with why that arrow light isn't working?! Also is the heat/ac panel suppose to light up? Sorry I know this small stuff but im little ocd.

Look on the side of the instrument panel where the doore closes and meets the dash
on the drivers side. there should be a fuse box there with a little door you open up.
I had a similar issue. I replaced all of my blinker harnesses
(a few dollars each at an auto parts store) and the problem went away.

Also thought I would mention that this arrow on the dash does not blink with hazards either only ones light and blinking is right side. This wouldn't be caused by that blinker being powered by a wire under the dash? Noticed guy had a wire tied into the harness and running to the signals on the left.

It could be the harmess itself that the blinker bulb screws into.
that was my proplem. It is ground.
something could be wrong with ground and it is looking for another path to ground energizing other circuits in the process.
