Have you done a compression test on that cylinder? The piston rings leaking oil thru sounds like it could be a cause, but I am sure there are many other causes for that too.

yes i have done a compression test... k i got the motor and it had ruffly 300 mile on it i have put about 1500 mile on it so its just getting broken in... i did the test when i first put it in and all my cylinders were around 150 give or take 5psi... my #8 is at about 90psi now and the rest are still up around 140 now.... when i start it in the morning NO smoke at all, and when i go done the road there aint any smoke.. what she does is lets say i give her 3/4 throttle she goes good for a second and then she like almost sound like its flooding but at the same time it sounds like its starving... i was thinking if its just brakening in should i retorqe all my bolts???

Good thinking, Start with the things that dont cost $$, it could be just a loose head bolt and the compression is leaking.

i found something really intersting out about heads by doing them a lot!! after you torque headds if you go out the vext day and retorque them again they will be loose. i think there is almost an air pocket under there and you have to wait for it to seetle i had the same problem when doing a valve grind on my jeep with a chevy 350 good luck man!

Yea putting a new motor together cold is one thing but after it heats up it stretches everything out then cools down and things loose thier torque.
