Sorry I actually have another question. Does anyone know where the PCM is located on a 2011 silverado?
Thanks again

It'll help, but will it eliminate it? No. Do you use cruise control while pullin? A lot of it, actually most of it, has to do with gearing.

I pull a trailer that is about 8000 pounds loaded with my 07 Sierra 5.3L. It has a very hard time going uphill. I am debating between buying a heavy duty gas or diesel truck or investing in some upgrades.
So far I am thinking of upgrading gear ratios, intake and exhaust, transmition oil cooler and oil pan, and wondering if I should get a programmer as well.
Any thoughts or experience to share on any/all of these things?

Thanks!

yes, most annoying in cruise, especially 3 shifts and over revving, wish i could limit to one downshift. gearing pretty high 05 suburban
