Silverado exhaust advice

Looking for a cat-back system with a decent sound to it. Maybe even one of those kits to make it dual exhaust. Anyone know of an affordable kit and/or a good website to look for these? It's a 2000 with the 4.8L. Thanks.

Jegs.com has competetive pricing. As for the type, only have heard the Flowmasters and they sound pretty good.

I have a 2006 chevrolet silverado with the 4.8 and just recently installed a magnaflow exhaust. I'm not sure of the exact series, but it's like the level 1 model i guess you could say. Anyway, I had the exhaust guys cut it off right after it goes over the axle, so it's kind of hidden. It sounds great, not as loud as the flowmaster, but not to big of a difference either. It cost me about $230 out the doorafter installation. My only complant is that it backs fires slightly when idling at 50+ MPH. I don't think you can avoid that with the 4.8 liter.

I have a 2003 with a 4.8 V8. I had Bassani cat-back installed 3 yrs ago and I still love the way it sounds. It's not too loud, improved low end. It has that low throaty sound to it
here's the link
