smell somethin burnin

Hey guys first I want to say thank to everyone who has helped me out on here I really appreciate it. Friday I had a local muffler shop install a 3in. pipe from cat to my flowmaster muffler with a 2.5in. tailpipe single not dual. I notice that after the engine has warmed up and I have driven it a little it smells like somethin is burnin, it kinda smells like burnin rubber but I'm not driven aggresively or even churpin the tires, it smells stronger on the passenger side where the new exhaust is. Is it natural for it to smell like somethin is burnin after fresh welds or something this only started after i got the new exhaust. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
