Squeaking Clutch Pedal

Squeaking Clutch Pedal
I have a 1999 silverado, 4x4, with 120 k on the clock. The clutch pedal, squeals loudly when either depressing or when its coming out. It shifts fine, its just really load.
My best guess is that it is the bushing on the end of the master cylinder push rod where it mates with the pedal assembly.
Anyone else experience this? what was the solution?
Thanks in advance.
